The first tip that I recommend to anyone that is beginning to coupon is to ACCUMULATE them. If you see a coupon, save it. If there is an insert in the newspaper, save it. If there is an extra one that you see on the internet that you think you MIGHT need, save it! The way I acquired so many coupons in the beginning was by buying two Sunday newspapers each week that there were inserts. You can find a list of the yearly inserts by CLICKING HERE.
Also, don't be so quick to throw out those junk mail ads! There are really good coupons in them sometimes so look twice before tossing them in the recycling bin. Speaking of recycling -- if you would like to earn rewards and prizes for pledging to make your Earth greener, CLICK HERE to sign up with Recycle Bank.
I also have also spoke with my friends, family members, colleagues about saving their inserts for me. In return, I will sometimes give them a few items from my stockpile as a way to say thank you. But, do not limit yourself to inserts and coupons in magazines. The internet is a FABULOUS way to find coupons. I use the internet to print coupons every single day. Here on the blog you can find links to different coupon sites that have amazing coupons sometimes. You can print coupons from Coupons.com here as well as coupons from RedPlum. I am in the works with a few other agencies and once those are up and running I will be sure to let you all know.
